In a consumer society like ours, Black Friday has become one of the most anticipated dates to make as many purchases as possible, at a lower price, just before the start of the Christmas season. Precisely, Green Friday was born as a response to this trend, and seeks to set a precedent: open the door so that more and more people decide to change their habits, for ones that are more friendly to the planet.

''The idea of ​​creating a World Day against compulsive consumption was conceived between NGOs, environmental groups and small businesses and sustainable brands that defend ethical consumption and have the ability to influence the environment in a positive way.'' *

What this movement seeks is to generate awareness before purchasing; understand how and where what we buy is produced and support more conscious and environmentally friendly brands. Some brands have already joined in, either by donating profits to environmental causes, emphasizing the importance of sustainability or through original initiatives that promote actions such as reuse and recycling.

Given this type of initiatives, it is undeniable that the social effort to improve the repercussions of the textile industry is increasing. The entire world is realizing the importance of seeking and promoting best practices and is not hesitating when it comes to speaking out. What previously seemed normal or ''traditional'' to us is not necessarily the best for our future, and that is why today we invite you to make better decisions.
